Abstract

The National Historical and Ethnographic Reserve at Pereyaslav (hereinafter referred to as NHER Pereyaslav) includes a complex of 24 thematic museums located in the area of the city of Pereyaslav (Kyiv region) and its suburbs. NHER Pereyaslav possesses one of the largest collections of mills and milling devices in Ukraine. Articles from this collection are exhibited in the Museum of Bread, the open-air Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life of Central Dnieper Land, the Archaeological Museum, the Trypillian Culture Museum, and the Museum of ‘Memories of Polissia’.
